If the first film is still superior as a true watershed, this film is as fun as an imbecile. And, for that, it's worthy of such a funny imbecile.
I do not want to ruin the biggest surprises of this movie, because in truth there are some beautiful moments to discover. But I can tell you something more about the argument so that they will whet the appetite.
Deadpool 2 starts a few months after the first tape. For this height, Vanessa already fulfilled the promise she made to the cross of shar Pei with Ryan Reynolds: "After a while and a lot of alcohol, I would be happy to sit on your face".
The romance is revived, then, despite the rampant ugliness of Wade Wilson and everything seems to smile at the strange couple: there are straps plans to have children and the mercenary snout is busier than ever. In fact, at the beginning of the film we see something that had not been seen before: to Deadpool doing mercenary work, to earn his bread, to return to his wife at night.
This image of the mercenary Deadpool cements the idea of a normality that is going to break very soon when, in an angry act of revenge and Wilson's clumsiness, gangsters attack their home. When the normality of Deadpool breaks, the antihero is destabilized and tries to find some new anchor to guide his insane life.
The X-Men, taking pity on poor Wade, receive him as a trainee of the mutant group. And there's nothing more glorious than watching Deadpool in action with a training X-Men's belly button. Of course, for reasons of budget, there are only some mutants that we have already seen: the tender and responsible Colossus, Negasonic Teenage Warhead with a new adorable girlfriend and, also, some spectacular cameos.
In my opinion, Deadpool 2 is "more film" than the original in many ways, and it also surpasses it in areas that give it the substance that the original lacked. At the same time, we must consider that the jokes are not entirely fresh, except for those who are super funny and who represent references to comics that were not in the first. But undoubtedly Ryan Reynolds shines once again to "raise his audience to the stage", taking them to a stop like that which existed towards the humorist Sandy and that joke of the taxi driver and the Spaniard. The guy sells us the movie and there's no way to get on his party.
On the IMDB page, it gets a score of 7.9 / 10 in its ranking, plus you can read some reviews made by fans in the following link:
